Dr. Nelson is the reason I can move. I came to her two years ago, in so much pain. I have done PT, yoga, massage therapy, stretching, ibuprofen, naproxen, and various muscle relaxers. Nothing really helped very much until I started seeing Dr. Nelson. Within two weeks (four appointments), she had me mobile enough that even if I never improved beyond that, I would be happy. But I improved further. I still do all of the other things listed above, but Dr. Nelson was who made it possible. I see her as needed now, and would recommend her to anyone.

is a chiropractic treatment method and device created by Arlan Fuhr as an alternative to manual manipulation of the spine or extremity joints.
The instrument works by percussion - a sound wave - and the bone is gently restored to its normal position. This can be illustrated by a game of pool (billiards). If you have two balls sitting side by side and a third ball strikes one of the two, the ball being struck remains while the ball not struck rolls away. This is percussion.
Is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and has been practicing for over 20 years.
She strives to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis.
The chiropractic profession was founded in 1895 by a man named D. D. Palmer who began to develop the concept that the body has the internal power to heal itself.
By choice, chiropractors choose not to use drugs or surgery, and utilize natural approaches to allow the body to heal. Chiropractors treat primarily the spine and its attachments to restore function and health. They are faciliators of health and utilize a variety of approaches, including adjustments, physical therapeutic modalities, exercise routines, nutritional recommendations, orthotics, and daily living modifications.
There are roughly 70,000+ doctors of chiropractic who are concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of many disorders of the body. A variety of conditions are treated, ranging from back and neck pain to shoulder, hand, or feet disorders. Doctors of chiropractic are fully accredited and licensed and have become well accepted as a primary part of healthcare.
I have treated with chiropractors for over 25 years and started seeing Michelle recently for a specific issue. I love that her adjustments use minimal force and I find they are very effective. She even has a few adjustment techniques I have never seen before. I have always been able to schedule an appointment the same day, or the next, of when I call. Most importantly, she has always seen me at my scheduled time. The office staff are great too!

Or formally known as the "Thompson technique", is a method of adjusting that involves analyzing the length of the legs. This technique uses a "drop table" for adjustment, where a gentle thrust is applied to the joints, which in turn sets the drop pieces into motion and targets the specific joint or tissue.
After completing a leg length analysis, Dr. Nelson will determine the type of misalignment - cervical, pelvis, etc. and then adjusts the legs using a combination of multiple thrusts on various joints.
